There are all kinds of good reasons to visit the capital city in January. Between Restaurant Weeks (January 12th - 25th) and other events like the Rhode Island Brew Fest (January 25th), you'll find plenty of things to do (and eat). But if nothing else, taking a day trip into the city just to spend hours exploring The Providence Athenæum is worth it. When was the last time you strolled these historic halls?

2. February: Pawtucket
