FALL CHORES
The top ten things to do before the Fall season ends:
Clean your gutters - replace them if they loose/cracked/bowed/rusted
Check that the bottoms of exterior doors have weather stripping to prevent heat from escaping your home.
Drain outside faucets
Bring your outdoor furniture in
Asphalt driveway? Check for cracks, and reseal with a top coat. Concrete driveway? Seal all cracks with a filler
Fertilize the lawn. Be sure to follow instructions carefully (when to spread, when to water etc)
Change your batteries in smoke/carbon detectors. Replace if they are ten years +old.
Replace water filter cartridges in your refrigerator
Trim hedges, rake leaves, bring sensitive flowers and plants indoors
Clean the grill. If you leave out year round, be sure you have a full tank of fuel.
